Caroline Dabu started VSGS Advisory Services after spending close to 30 years primarily in wealth management at two of Canada’s largest financial institutions. She has held senior roles including heading up Wealth Distribution, Advisory Services and Wealth Management Marketing for North America. The years spent at the intersection of wealth advisory, marketing and distribution strategy revealed a consistent pattern: even well-designed strategies underperform when built in silos. She has also seen that the firms and businesses that build lasting competitive advantage were not the ones with the best products. They were the ones that understood their clients on a deeper level and helping them navigate the full complexity of longer, richer, more demanding lives.
